Ivo Bisignano is a fashion-artist, an archaelogist of fashion and a multitasking creative which combines nostalgic inspirations to pure visual and factual styling.
“Illustration is different from photography. History has always been illustrated: on the walls, on the columns and through painting. The magic that you put in your illustration; you always include your state of mind and this is reflected very clearly. The key of my job is to make people reflect, to make them dream, surprise them. Being Sicilian I have a strong sense of time. I do not understand the hurry to get an image with just one click and then to forget it with the same simpleness. This leads people to forget the aromas and the emotions which these recall.”
Ivo Bisignano has recently worked with Prada, Fratelli Rossetti and Missoni and has realized some illustrations for the Anna Piaggi Hat-ology exhbition in Milan.
