My name is James Rogers and i am currently studying Creative Music Technology at Anglia Ruskin University. Since around the age of 12 i have been playing guitar and piano and as my curiosity with music creation increased i started to learn how to record audio and midi and use this to my advantage of creating different styles of music. With having a little studio in bedroom in Nottinghamshire I then started to compose tracks for adverts that would be used to create jingles for various businesses in the nottinghamshire area. I have experience creating adverts at radio stations such as smooth radio and saga radio, and have learn many techniques to create professional sounding adverts.
I also have studied Music Technology Btech and NCN clarendon (Notts) for two years which helped me gain valuable knowledge towards the current university degree i am undertaking. With some of this knowledge I hope to be able to advance through CMT and learn and do as much as possible to do with the music course over the next three years.
I hope to after hopefully graduating to travel different areas of the world to indulge more musical influences as possible to help further my musical experience, knowledge and understanding. Then hopefully persue projects to do with video and music collaborations such as music for film, adverts and live performance displays.
