Jan is a Scottish artist and filmmaker specialising in ethical and social issues jannimmo.com.... Jan has worked and travelled extensively in Latin America and is a regular visitor to Spain. Her Green Gold project greengold.org.uk is a collaborative art project which looks at the lives of Latin American banana workers through portrait, testimony, installation and documentary film. La Chacina de la Suerte looks at small scale, sustainable food production in the Sierra de Huelva, Spain and her film, The Road to Drumleman jannimmo.com/TRTD.html is the story of Scotland's most remote coal mine, which closed in 1967. Based in Glasgow Jan works on a range of community art projects, filmmaking, graphics and makes her own art work. She is researching and documenting traditional agriculture, including cork production and la dehesa, in Sierra de Huelva, Southern Spain. Jan has filmed and edited banana workers' testimonies in Cameroon, Central Africa for Make Fruit Fair. Her most recent work is a series of portraits of the 43+3+2 missing students from Ayotzinapa in Mexico. ¿Dónde Están?
