Jaydude is the nickname of Jan Vork, who starts as a computer aided designer at multi disciplinary design bureau Total Design (now Total Idenity) in 1989. As a specialist working with the Aesthedes Design System, he was send out to Denmark to help TD-related company Designgrafik with their Aesthedes/Apple workflow. Next he moves Sdu Design Support in The Heague, where he works on security printing documents, such as passports, chipcards, lottery notes and cheques. Sdu Security Printing is now part of banknote printer Royal Joh. Enschedé.
A big change of direction is made when Jan applies for a job at Joop van den Ende Producties. Orginally to set up a design department for corporate design and to support the theater productions with graphic design. After a few years he takes the challenge to start an in house motion graphics department: Endemol Design & Graphics. After 9 years at Endemol, he leaves for a position at Eyeworks as Creative Director Graphics & Design.
