Jason Djang is a producer and editor from Los Angeles and New York City. In January of 2009, he was appointed by President Obama as the first ever White House Director of Video in the newly established Office of New Media. Prior to his tenure at the White House, he worked for Obama for America in Chicago as its lead long-form editor where he helped build the campaign’s unprecedented and prolific online video footprint. Following the election, he served on the Presidential Transition in Washington as editor and producer, setting video precedent and style for the Obama White House.

Before venturing into the political world, Jason worked in documentary film and television. Credits include non-fiction features and episodics for PBS, The History Channel, and Discovery Channel as well as the 2007 SXSW hit film CONFESSIONS OF A SUPERHERO presented by Morgan Spurlock. He also co-directed the award-winning film on HIV in Swaziland, DEAR FRANCIS (Showtime Networks).

Jason finds it odd to write in the third person.
