Jean-Julien Pous is a French filmmaker who explores animation combined with live-action. He is born and lived in China; his short films are embracing both Chinese and French culture. They evoke existentialism, sensuality and sometimes absurd humor. He received 5 awards in international film festivals such as Rotterdam, for his short films Switch (2007) and Seeking You (2008). He directed commercial films for Chanel, Lenovo, Millet, the Spanish Tourism Board, and an interactive film for the Museum of History of Wuxi, China. He now lives in Seoul, giving 3d animation lectures at Kookmin University. His work is exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Seoul and Hong Kong.
