JEN KWOK is a writer/performer from Palmdale, CA who is currently based in New York City. Armed with a velvety voice and razor-sharp wit, Jen combines comedy, music, improv and character work to create a twisted spin on daily life.

Jen’s work has been featured by The New York Times, PBS, MTV, BuzzFeed, and Rolling Stone Magazine. Her viral web videos – including the much loved, yet mildly controversial “Date an Asian” - have pulled in over 4 million views, and her music video, “Take You Home”, was featured on Comedy Central’s Atom TV. Jen’s film and television work includes playing the ukulele in the movie “Eat, Pray, Love” and hosting PBS’ Asian America.

A versatile live performer, Jen has appeared at such venues as: The Kennedy Center, Joe’s Pub, Highline Ballroom, Le Poisson Rouge, Ars Nova, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT), The People’s Improv Theatre (PIT), and Gotham Comedy Club. She has also performed and hosted events everywhere from colleges across the country (featured at NACA Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and South), to burlesque shows throughout NYC, and corporate events for TimeWarner, Verizon and Ogilvy & Mather.

Jen is also a prominent member of the Asian-American performing community, and has hosted Kollaboration NY & DC, as well as curated and co-hosted the Asian-American Writer’s Workshop’s Mouth to Mouth series. As a writer, Jen’s work has appeared on SparkLife, marieclaire.com, VH1.com and TV Grapevine.
