Jen Tarnate is currently doing documentary photography and films on issues concerning 'development', social spaces, and the vernacular.
Her work has been presented at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) at Kyoto University in Japan, together with the group, Weekend Project. Her photos have also appeared on the covers of Social Science Diliman Journal.
She has worked on projects for the Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET), Lifetime Asia Channel, the Czech Embassy, and various non-government organizations, among others.
Jen is also a director/producer for Culture Shock Productions, handling television programs for History Channel Asia, FYI Network (formerly Bio Channel), AXN, and Lifestyle Network.
Her body is currently based in Manila, while her mind has decided to pack its bags to travel the world within and beyond.
