John Snedden, a Cinematographer currently based in Los Angeles, Calif, enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served for 20 years as a cameraman, documenting Navy and Marine Corps Missions. Snedden began his civilian career in 2005, as a film loader for Stu Segall Productions. he quickly moved moved through the ranks, becoming an operator on the MGM feature Hit and Run. His credits as Cinematographer include the feature Criticized, Blood Brothers, Heathens Gate, and Brite Eyes. In 2010, Snedden's work on Brite Eyes was selected by IA 600's Emerging Cinematographers Association as one of the eight honorees. Snedden won a regional Emmy for his camera work on Giving back-First Robotics Competition in 2010. He also has worked with two time Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner, documentary director Ondi Timoner ( Dig!, We Live in Public) on her latest documentary.
