Jonah M. Kessel is a cinematographer, filmmaker and staff video journalist with The New York Times.
He has contributed to a Pulitzer Prize winning series, been awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Justice and Human Rights reporting, The Edwin Hoop Diplomatic Award for Journalism and a Human Rights Press Award from Amnesty International. In 2015, he received a 2nd place award from Pictures of the Year International as Multimedia Journalist of the Year.
