I am a freelance multimedia journalist based out of Gainesville, Fla. specializing in emerging media. My work has been features in The New York Times, The Miami Herald, Sports Illustrated, ESPN and various other outlets in print and across the web. From writing to photography to producing video features, I try to be as compact and mobile as possible.
Recently, I spend the better part of the summer of 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico reporting on the BP oil spill for The McClatchy News Co. and The Miami Herald. There, I worked with other writers and editors remotely and in the field to produce daily photo galleries, videos and articles following the Deepwater Horizon disaster on April 20. We worked on tight deadlines and were on the move constantly to stay on top of the story.
As a multimedia producer, any client may request a specific storyboard or idea, or can collaborate with me on generating the best product to suit their needs. This may be still photographs for print and online ads, or a full video campaign for use in social media platforms such as facebook and twitter.
It is my goal to best suit the needs of my client - for advertising or editorial purposes and documentary-style storytelling.
Thank you for viewing my work, and I look forward to doing business with you.
Have a great day,
