JONATHON E. STEWART is the principal of digital content production and web development company, Atticus Entertainment, Inc, and writes, directs, produces and hosts commercials and short-form, original videos for clients like the New York Times online company About.com, Verizon, Walmart, PepsiCo, eBay, the Discovery Channel and many others, over 500 and counting. Atticus Entertainment also produces cutting-edge branded content entertainment and innovative website applications concept to delivery, and provides full creative advertising and marketing services for large and small business clients.
In 2008, with writing partner Eyal Podell, he wrote and optioned the screenplay USONIA, a biopic about legendary architect Frank Llyod Wright, and has since written screenplays and TV pilots that are currently in various stages of development in Los Angeles and New York City. Stewart also produces and directs music videos including metal legend Helmet’s “Gone,” which aired on MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball and was a MySpace.com Exclusive. A renowned public speaker and author who has inspired countless audiences from the corporate sector to the general public with a style that is instantly warm, relatable, and entertaining, Stewart is also producing and will be speaking at a Los Angeles-based TedX conference in 2012.
Stewart clocked time at HBO Films, The Walt Disney Company and served as Director of Development for boutique production company, Grover in CA (CAVEDWELLER, DESERT SAINTS). He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, is a member of the WGA and SAG, and maintains offices in Los Angeles and New York City. Awards include Best Director at the San Francisco 48-Hour Film Festival, Viewers’ Voice at Cinequest, Best of the Fest at the SoCal Independent Film Festival and an honorable mention in the Slamdance Screenplay Competition, among others.
