Born on Halloween some time ago, Justin Coloma is a Peruvian American film director, writer and editor.
Justin Coloma was raised in Lima, Peru, and moved to California as a teenager. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from The University of California, Berkeley. His music video credits include Smashing Pumpkins, Eagles of Death Metal, Boomkat featuring Taryn Manning, Morgan Page, Linda Strawberry, Miss Derringer, The Higher, Veil Veil Vanish, Jupiter Blue, and Uncertain.
He has edited three feature films. "If All Goes Wrong," a rock documentary produced by Coming Home Studios, chronicles the Smashing Pumpkins' 12 show residency at the Fillmore in San Francisco in July and August 2007. "Everything Will Happen Before You Die," premiering in 2010 at various film festivals is an irreverant indie comedy by Dan Finkel. "Stuck In Neutral," a rock documentary by Michael Dahan, explores the struggles of a talented LA band trying to make it.
He currently produces and develops work under his own production company: Coloma Productions, Inc.
Had the opportunity to see them a couple of years ago - wish I did. Great Band. They recaptured the old school post punk sound that I grew up on. Great video - I love the lighting.
