Karen works in a highly specialized practice where exercise is medicine. She is the Clinical Exercise Physiologist for the San Ramon Regional Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation Program where she designs and delivers exercise programs as a treatment and prevention strategy for people challenged with chronic and age-related diseases, such as: cardiovascular disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and obesity.
Karen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Biodynamics (the physiology of human performance) and is a professional member of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
