Kate began working in film production as a teenager. She has worked in various departments on a wide range of film & television projects.
In 2010 Kate wrote, produced & directed her first short film, Tell Me.
An excerpt of that short was used in her application to attend Werner Herzog’s first London-based, Rogue Film school.
Since 2011, she has happily volunteered at the Sundance Film Festival & doesn't imagine a January without her visiting Utah!
Her favourite films include: Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Withnail & I, Tootsie, Running On Empty, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Into the Arms of Strangers, A Matter of Life and Death, Ratatouille, Some Like It Hot, Ordinary People, Camille Claudel, The Savages, It's A Wonderful Life, Kramer Vs Kramer, The Sound of Music, When Harry Met Sally, Labyrinth, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Stand By Me, Riding Giants, The Station Agent, most of Billy Wilder's films, anything John Hughes & everything from Eugene Levy & Christopher Guest.
Kate finds it challenging to resist sweet foods & fried foods... especially sweet foods that are fried.
She lives in London, is happy to travel and can be easily distracted by animals.
