Katie is a TV Reporter, MMJ, fill-in anchor at Time Warner Cable News in Albany where she covers the top stories in the Capital Region every week night. While at TWC News, she's covered the prisoners' escape from the Clinton Correctional Facility and the Pope's visit to Philadelphia.
She won a New York Emmy award in the General Assignment category for her story on a community coming together to watch a bridge blow up.
Katie also won two New England/Boston Emmy awards for her work as a multimedia journalist at the Boston Herald where she covered the Boston Marathon Bombings and told the stories of the survivors.
After graduating from Emerson College in 2011, Katie began her career in Des Moines, Iowa as a video journalist at the ABC affiliate, WOI. While there, she covered the Republican candidates vying for the top spot in the Iowa Caucuses, got a few cameos on the Colbert Report, and was featured on ABC World News for her story on mammoth bones discovered by an Oskaloosa farmer in his backyard.
