Kia Anne Geraths works as a filmmaker, specializing in directing, cinematography and editing. Her short documentary, The Blacksmith, aired on OPB's Oregon Lens which showcases outstanding work by Northwest independent filmmakers. Geraths was educated at the Art Institute of Portland, graduating with a BFA in Digital Film and Video.
Her film Bicycles premiered at the Bikesploitation Festival in Memphis, Tennessee and her documentary, The Wet Plate Photographer, was featured on both PetaPixel and ISO 1200.
She teaches at the NW Documentary Center in addition to working on various freelance film & photography projects.
