Kristen Conaty is an award-winning female filmmaker currently residing in Southington, CT. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in May with a major in Film Studies with a double emphasis in Production and Film History & Criticism as well as minors in Graphic Communications and Leadership. Kristen has directed 4 shorts films, shot 10 additional films, and produced 4 independent shorts. She is the first female to win the Minnesota Film and TV Grant. Kristen’s senior thesis film, The Years, was an invited film to the 2011 Fargo International Film Festival. Kristen's films; Dear Eliza and Downpour, have screened at festivals nationwide and her short Making Love recently won Best Sci Fi Film at the Tunxis Short Film Festival.
