I was born in San Diego, California, and moved around the country with my mom for several years before settling in Mission, Texas, a small town in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. After graduating from the South Texas Business, Education & Technology Academy (a magnet high school in Edinburg, TX), I moved to Austin to study in UT's Radio-Television-Film program.
Since becoming an RTF student, I have worked on two student television programs, interviewing bands and directors and creating a brand-new culinary segment called Put This in Your Mouth - several episodes of which are on this Vimeo channel. I also co-directed, produced and edited a short documentary about name changes in the transgender community with my girlfriend, Caitlin Lundin, entitled "What's in a Name?", which has been well-received at almost a dozen national and international film festivals. I have also directed, shot and edited a music video for Kevin Drew's song "Gangbang Suicide" and two redirected scenes from Angels in America and You've Got Mail, and I have written two feature-length screenplays (one for an original musical with an indie rock soundtrack, the other for a horror-comedy set at the Athens, TX Trail of Lights Christmas Park), among other things.
Today I am working as an editor for a Round Rock based video company called Altared Weddings that shoots and produces high-quality wedding videos and promotional videos for local businesses.
I live with my girlfriend, Caitlin and a sassy dog named Pepper, who is the prettiest mamasita en el mundo.
