Kyle Matthew was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Kyle caught the "acting bug” in the 8th grade after receiving the best actor award on Shakespeare Day at Greenhill School, which he attended for 13 years. As a senior in high school, Kyle co-directed, co-wrote and starred in a short film which premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, TX.
Kyle resides in Los Angeles, where he is pursuing a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dramatic Arts and a minor in Screenwriting from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. At the end of his freshman year, Kyle played a lead role in the first ever USC/UCLA co-production. Kyle is fresh off of completing the British American Drama Academy’s (BADA’s) Midsummer in Oxford Program. Kyle looks forward to further studying and exploring his craft on the stage, television, and big screen.
