Les Trois Femmes is a tribal fusion trio that was born on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at a special little festival called "Tribal Fest" (the one and only!). In 2012, we had the distinct pleasure of representing the larger group of eclipse fusion from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on stage during a sunny afternoon in the beautiful town of Sebastopol, California. By the end of our visit, we had decided to form a trio that would be forever indebted to the festival and the wonderful people there for giving us the inspiration and opportunity to leap into a new adventure, just the three of us. Since then, we have come up with several choreographies which have been requested at various bellydance events throughout our home town. We work together to come up with the perfect blend of upbeat and sultry, fun and flirty, charming and light. Our individual talents combine to form one glittery extravaganza of stylish and fun-filled choreographies, each with an unexpected twist.
Les Trois Femmes are Michelle “Redsauce” Kaplan, Stacie Clarke, and Vanessa “Dahlia” Petrola, three dancers and friends who are constantly striving to improve their technique and artistry through hard work and fun times. Redsauce has studied fusion for several years and enjoys the challenge of incorporating many different styles including hip-hop and contemporary. She likes to add something completely different and unexpected to each creation she touches. Stacie is a dedicated student of the Salimpour formats and recently became Level One certified in Suhaila's program. She loves The Roaring Twenties, old movies, and kitties, and brings clean technique and a cinematic Jazz Age flavour to the troupe's choreographies. Dahlia is a passionate dance devotee, who likes to incorporate and study from different dance art forms. She is an exotic bombshell that loves taking risks. Her style involves ancient and classic aesthetics, with a heavy focus on fluidity and snappy sensuality.
