Liza Finn has been writing, playing and singing all her life. Raised in a creative, bohemian environment, this London songbird was influenced by artists such as Janis Joplin, Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Nina Simone, which led her to study classically: a progression that has helped her develop the unique, layered, cunningly composed, sweetly and powerfully delivered songs she presents today.
Liz...a recorded her debut EP, ‘Perceptions’, produced by Paul O’Neill (Sophie Ellis Bextor, The Verve, Gary Barlow), in 2011, and has used 2012 to tour the UK festival circuit and beyond, including Stowfest, Devauden, Symmetry Festival, Cazfest, Ludlow Festival and the renowned World's End Music Festival in Austria. She recently headed back into the studio to record her haunting new single, ‘Home’, again produced by Paul O'Neill, which will be released in November, along with an accompanying video, just in time for Christmas.
Liza’s conversational singing voice effortlessly weaves its way through rich melodies, describing the joys and anxieties, the highs and lows of love and life, drawing you in, mesmerising you with her astute observations and gentle narrative like a friend sharing deep secrets. Her consummate, apparently casual artistry is matched by her renowned professionalism and determination.
Liza Finn is here. Listen at your leisure.

"Imagine walking into a darkened room to hear Eva Cassidy and The Carpenters doing an impromptu jam session. You shouldn't be surprised to turn on the light and find out it was Liza." - Time Out

"Part Nina Simone, part Carole King and Joni Mitchell, yet somehow still one hundred per cent Liza Finn." - Global News

"Perhaps Liza Finn's most unique talent lies in these smart juxtapositions: her sunniest upbeat tunes are dyed in dark undertones, while her deeper efforts are presented as throwaway pop. Finn's is a world where nothing is quite as it seems, and where everything is worthy of a second look - or listen." - James C Taylor
