Long Live the Queen is a music and arts festival curated by musicians for their community during the Victoria Day long weekend, in North End Halifax
LLTQ vows to sustain the artistic hub they proudly call their neighbourhood, by centering a festival within a few square, marvelous blocks. The festival will reach out to the all-ages community, and encourage marriage between successful touring bands and emerging local talents.
LLTQ’s musical genre-umbrella includes hip-hop, folk, punk, metal, electro, motown and doo wop. Shows will take place in special venues, transformed by local artists to encourage comfort and aesthetic pleasure. Shows will not overlap each other.
LLTQ is interested in filling a void in their hearts and their city.
Long Live the Queen.
