For over three decades, Lou Freeman has practiced and shaped the art of Fashion, Glamour, Fine Interior, and Lifestyle Photography. Her clients are among the most respected and recognized names in America and Europe. Lou’s work is powerful and visionary, recognized by both the publishing and advertising worlds, which awarded her with the prestigious OBIE and ADDY Awards. Major fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar Italia have sought her out and her work is featured in some of the industry’s leading publications such as Elle Decor, People, and Modern Bride.
Lou’s expertise spreads to the erotic genre. In 1988, her work captured the interest of executives at Playboy Magazine, one of America’s most widely circulated brands and magazines. She became the second woman ever to shoot for Playboy Magazine. For twelve straight years, she delivered nearly 600 spreads for the publication, giving women a voice in the work that portrayed them. The ability to produce compelling imagery that connects with consumers brought big name brands such as Hanes, Ralph Lauren, and Kohl’s to her client list. Her confidence and poise allows her to work well with A­listers, and she has captured images of many high­profile clients including Jamie Foxx, Tiger Woods, and Evander Holyfield.

those looking to hone their skills at universities and conferences such as Photoplus International and the Maui Photo Festival. She completed a 39 city Look Fabulous Tour with Lindsay Adler in 2013.
Lou has a Bachelor’s of the Fine Arts Degree in Photographic Design from the University of Georgia as well as her Master’s of the Fine Arts Degree. She continued studies with the International Center of Photography in New York City.
