With over 35 years of experience, Margie Haber is known as Hollywood’s top acting coach specializing in the audition process. Margie teaches actors How to Get the Part…Without Falling Apart, the title of her book published by Random House.

Margie has worked with actors from all over the world through her studio’s Intensive Studies Program. She starred in Hollywood Trials, a Docu/Reality television series for RTE network in Ireland, produces classes and events at her Hollywood studio and teaches workshops and seminars across the globe from Jakarta to San Paulo to New York City.

Some of Margie’s well-known clients include Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, Halle Berry, Heather Locklear, Kelly Preston, Kyle Chandler, Eric Close, Kristin Davis, Laura Innes, Stephen Collins, Vondie Curtis Hall, Sophia Bush, Jeri Ryan, Mariska Hargitay, Molly Sims, Colin Egglesfield and teen actors David Henrie and Greg Sulkin, among many others.

Margie was an audition coach in the 1980′s, when two of her clients, Brad Pitt and Michael Easton, wound up testing for the same role in the film, Thelma & Louise. It turned out to be Pitt’s breakthrough career role, and Margie has since helped thousands of other actors achieve their dreams.

Born in New York, Margie received her Bachelors Degree from Ithaca College and her Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from Brooklyn College. She left New York for the West Coast in 1970, and embarked on an acting career in Hollywood that spanned over two decades. Margie guest-starred in films and television series, and was the “quintessential mom” in countless commercials. In the late 70′s and early 80′s, Margie combined her acting with a career in teaching. At the famous Lee Strasberg Institute, she recognized the need for a good cold reading and audition technique class and founded the Margie Haber Studio in the ‘80’s.
