Michael Andres Palmieri was most recently a writer and producer for ABC’s The 84th. Academy Awards – Oscar’s Best Dressed – which appeared on oscar.com, On The Red Carpet, and Good Morning America. Prior to The Academy Awards, he was a Consulting Producer on Fox’s The X Factor digital initiative - The X Factor Pepsi Preshow Live - where he produced weekly shows, and dual screen experiences.
He was a producer on the films Six Days, Seven Nights, Kept and Shonda Rhimes award-winning short Blossoms & Veils. In the unscripted arena, he has two shows in development - On The Move, and Ordinary People. He has also produced content for YouTube’s Sketchies and Living Legends Channels, as well as Executive Produced the experiential film Universal Studios Sentosa: Typhoon-360, and Nickelodeon’s animated film Dora & Diego: Catch that Robot Butterfly for the special venues market.
As a writer he co-wrote the six hour SyFy action adventure mini-series Jack Hunter, and his latest feature work, entitled The Hand of God, is currently in pre-production. He has also written the drama Again, and co-wrote the sitcom Willing & Abel. He most recently rendered consulting services on the independent films Born to Race 1 and 2.
He has held development and production executive positions for companies based at TriStar Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, Twentieth Century Fox, and Sega – where he developed and sold over 30 film, television, and new media properties. He began his career in the management training program at the Fox Broadcasting Company.
