I previously worked in acquisitions at FilmBuff, a distribution company heavily focused on the digital space. There, I was responsible for finding the next best indie film. With an abundance of motion-picture viewing opportunities, it was evident that there was a tough selection process going on. Since the ultimate goal was to stand out from the competition, it was imperative that I found compelling, high concept, thought provoking content that lent itself to the digital landscape. I was responsible for the distribution of indie cult favorites such as “The Battery”, “Rewind This!” and this past summer’s “Frequencies”.
After 5 amazing years at FilmBuff, I decided it was time for a change of scenery and joined the team over at Candy Factory Films as Head of Content. I believe in embracing a pioneering spirit while using analytics to drive business strategy. With this combination, it allows no room for failure.
