To create a center where those of any faith, as well as those without a faith, may commune in the spirit of honor and respect, for the nurturing of spiritual wisdom, compassion, community understanding and healing. By recognizing one's own spiritual nature, the individual is freed to recognize the wholesomeness in others and all forms of life.
Summit Dharma Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions made are tax deductible within standard IRS guidelines for non-profits. We strive for complete financial transparency. Past financial statement are available by request. Please contact us if you would like to see them.
MMC / SDC respects and upholds the lineage of mindful awareness as taught by the historical Buddha and as presented through the Karma Kagyu lineage on Indo-Tibetan Buddhism. We hold no sectarian views nor do we institutionalize our practice. Rather we strive to welcome practitioners of all faiths and lineages.
