Based in Frederick, Maryland, Missing Link Cinema began as a way for two friends to make movies together under a collaborative name. Within a few short years of working together, their efforts began to garner recognition and accolades. Their first real collaboration together, “Unborn”, resulted in a Telly Award and also placed in the Top 250 for the Project: Greenlight Directors Competition.
Growing to three members, and after taking a short hiatus in 2006, the MLC crew competed again at the 72 Film Fest in 2007, and in 2008, they were award Best Writing for their movie, “Falling”. Their recent efforts in 2009, 2010, and 2011 gave way to multiple nominations in almost every category. While they didn't bring home any awards, they have always been one of the audience favorites during competition. It's this recognition that drives them to one day make a full-length movie.
