Nate Riggs, a social web strategist with a true passion for connecting people with people and promoting genuine and honest communication. His first application with social media tools was in the year 2000 while at Otterbein College, where he used a private web-based niche social community to help raise funds for a non-profit alumni organization. That was the "Ah-Ha" moment that laid the foundation for a career in developing new media communication strategies that would help companies and individuals achieve their unique objectives, faster and more efficiently than they ever thought possible.
Nate holds a degree in Organizational Communication and Media, and brings nearly 10 years of experience in business development, traditional brand marketing, interactive strategy, and executing client-side campaigns. His vision is simple - people are the new marketing channels empowered by an ever growing set of new media tools that create a Total Internet Presence.
Nate is a dad of two fine toddlers, pack leader to two dogs, three cats and a goldfish named Nemo and engaged to @sarahbednar, a truly amazing women who puts up with his insanity for social communication. Nate is currently training for multi-sport distance races and will run in the Columbus Marathon in October.
