NYCDivaCooks is based on my personal cooking experience and for educational and informational purposes only, with focus on sharing my cooking methods in a humble matter (nothing extravagant or impressive), with a little background in gastronomical history of each food, health benefits of ingredients added, step by step instructional video, and list of recipes. It is down to earth with not only my personal experiences, but also, candid mistakes because we are all humans and not perfect.
I am not a professional chef, have never taken any cooking classes and never worked hands-on as an employee in the food industry. My method of cooking is base primarily on taste testing to decipher its ingredients and manner in which it was prepared, figuring if I can duplicate it. I like to reinvent recipes and alter its ingredients to fit my personal taste and enhance its flavor.
