A handmade wooden lamp we call Spotty.

The Spotty by www.obeandco.com has been designed to give three-dimensional functionality while blending its flowing curves with the tactile beauty of wood.

A major part of the making process relies on turning them on a wood lathe. Due to this method of making subtle variances appear within each uniquely shaped lamp adding personality and character while allowing a greater level of care and craftsmanship to be attained in the finished design.

We are now officially naming each Spotty, having developed a natural inclination to with the time we spend making each one.

They have a few subtle nuances to their design, which allows them to stand as up lights, rest on their sides as angled spot lamps or to be suspended as pendant lamps.

On their own they are a wonderful way to illuminate a living space directly or indirectly and when they are clustered together or dotted around a room they turn into an striking light installation.
