Adelaide seeks love by faking illnesses. When she meets Brad at the pharmacy counter - a man as hopelessly nurturing as she is needy - she decides to turn her strategy, and their lives, upside down.
"Adelaide" was Liliana Greenfield-Sanders' second year film at NYU Graduate Film School. It screened at over 50 festivals worldwide, winning Grand Jury Prizes and Audience Awards at over 10 of them. The film earned a National Board of Review Student Grant Award, a Director's Guild of America (West) Audience Award, Wasserman nods at NYU and was chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick and Short of the Week.
Greenfield-Sanders later wrote the feature screenplay of "Adelaide" and attended both the Sundance Institute Screenwriting and Directing Labs, as an Annenburg/Indian Paintbrush Fellow.
