PANAGIOTIS KOUNTOURAS
Film Director/ Music Videos Artist

Panagiotis Kountouras was born in Thessaloniki. In 2009 he became a student at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (School of Film Studies, Faculty of Arts). In 2007 he wins the CrashFest 2007 Audience Award for the short film ''The end's beginning''. In 2009 his feature film ''The Pop Corn Movie'' was an official selection of 49th T.I.F.F in the Digital Wave Section. He has also starred and worked as a director's assistant in many theatrical productions. He has directed Music Videos, TV Spots, Corporate Videos and the short film Bitter Dreams.

In 2011 he wins ''My Unforgiving Experience'' international video competition for a commercial project run by Within Temptation and MTV.

HEROES OF THE FLICKS is his first documentary film. An ''Official Selection'' of 14th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, in Stories to Tell section, receiving exceptional reviews. His second documentary titled “FROM THE COURTYARDS TO THE LIVING ROOMS” (co-directed with Dionysia Arvanitou) was screened in Cyprus International Film Festival this fall.

In association with Dionysia Arvanitou and Fig Leaf Media Production he has created TV Commercials & Music Videos for talented artists.

Harry S, Shotgunz, Fanis Tziastas, Groovies, Dimitris Goulousis, Aggelos Mourvatis, Teo Abatziadis and Crimson Rivers.

In 2012-13, Panagiotis Kountouras produced and presented the TV Show BOX OFFICE for EGNATIA TV (Thessaloniki/Greece). He is a Radio Producer at FM100.6 and Cinema Editor in exostispress.gr
