prOphecy sun is an interdisciplinary performance artist who interfaces with sound, movement and installation to create emotive environments. Repurposing elements/images drawn from dreams, memory, mythology and the moving body, she creates pieces that suggest parallel dream worlds. Her experimental performances, sound compositions, videos and collaborations have been exhibited in Canada and abroad. Musical projects include: prOphecy sun, Her Jazz Noise Collective, Tyranahorse, VEE, Under the Sun and Spell and The Adulthood. She is currently a first year Master’s Candidate at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and a researcher under Dr. Maria Lantin with the Moving Stories project in partnership with the Laban Institute.
