As an anthropologist, activist, photographer, videographer, documentary filmmaker, and musician, Hermon Farahi seeks to publicize anthropological insights into the perceptions and lived experience of the human condition, using various forms of media such as photography, song, film, and art installation projects.

Hermon Farahi is a MA candidate and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Anthropology and International Development at the George Washington University.
He is also part of the prestigious Institute for Documentary Filmmaking in the Department of Media & Public Affairs, pursuing a MFA certificate.
In addition, Hermon has recently founded "Artefact", a research institute and media production organization, whose mission is to synthesize international qualitative social research with social documentary.
