Paul Thiltges Distributions is a Luxembourg based private World Sales and Production Company that owns a significant catalog of films.
Focused on feature documentaries with universal themes (Workingman’s Death, dir. Michael Glawogger, Best Documentary Film at San Francisco IFF etc.), family animation feature (Renart the Fox, dir. Thierry Schiel) or European art house feature films (The Welfare Worker dir. Lutz Konermann), Paul Thiltges Distributions has produced and/or distributed to date more than 65 films.
Since 1993, Paul Thiltges Distributions has released such titles as: The Blue Arrow, first European animated feature to be distributed in the US by Miramax & The Walt Disney Company; Megacities, selected by 35 festivals including Sundance, Toronto, Locarno and San Sebastian; Kirikou and the Sorceress , more than 2 million entries at French Box-office in 1999-2000.
In December 2011, Paul Thiltges Distributions’ sister company Juliette Films was launched with producer David Grumbach. Juliette Films is meant to take over the production activities initiated by Paul Thiltges Distributions, whereas PTD will now focus on distribution and international sales activities.
