Quincy took his first video editing class while in high-school, awakening a passion to create through the visual storytelling medium. His experimental student work was accepted into several film festivals and he was awarded a partial-scholarship to an Art University. After a year, with disappointment in the education system, Quincy came back to his hometown of Portland to focus on music production, enrolling in an electronic music class at a local community college. While supporting himself with a freelance videography business, he continued in a process of self-education and dedication to his craft. Through personal growth and transformational experiences, Quincy recognized the potential of music and video as a spark to inspire and raise consciousness. In 2013, he founded 7G Creative: record label and media production studio, releasing a debut hip-hop album (soulminor.com) and documentary (behindbeing.com).
