Rich Van Every
Producer –Cinematographer- Photographer
For over a decade now, Rich Van Every has traveled the globe conducting film work as well as photography with the top athletes in action sports and motor sport’s. From lasting relationships with friends like Travis Pastrana (FMX/Rally Champion) and brands such as Red Bull, Rich offers invaluable experiences and credibility to new opportunities. As a past sponsored skateboarder and National Downhill Mt Bike Champion (Expert Class), RVE relates with top athletes with high level of respect and passion. His work is fueled by the same pure passion and awareness for expression, as these top athletes possess.
RVE got his start growing up in southern California shooting Skateboarding as a hobby. After school he moved to Lake Tahoe and started working with Standard Films, which quickly took him around the world capturing history in exotic locations.
In 2004, his long awaited first solo project “MOTORHEAD” was released which won “Most Innovative Video” at the 2005 X-tremy awards. The next year his documentary on Nate Adams, A top freestyle motocross rider, titled “FULL CIRCLE” took the highest marks in the industry of action sports winning “Film of the Year” at the 2006 X-Dance Film Festival.
In the future Rich aspires to continue being creative with film directing along with his photography and cinematography of adventure, nature and people. His current project “Life Is Now” is a documentary is about following your heart by correlating sport with living a life of purpose and passion.
