The Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam is an artist’s institute for exceptionally talented artists, from all over the world. The Rijksakademie creates an environment in which artists can concentrate on research, experiment and production for a period of two years.
The residency program offers facilities like a studio, technical workshops and a work budget. In addition, residents can request feedback and support from internationally acclaimed artists, curators and theorists.
Artists often experience a huge creative development during their residency at the Rijksakademie.
