Rotten Bliss is the high-tech no-fi one-woman project of London based cellist, vocalist and noise connoisseur Sometimes Jasmine. A Rotten Bliss show is an immersive and enveloping experience in which the audience is drawn into an eerie electric dream world and guided through hypnotic layers of sound by Jasmine’s warm and intimate vocals. Jasmine draws from mythology, desire, cacophony and chance to create a deliciously deranged sonic stew, combining explorations of the outer limits of the processed cello with sparse and lyrical compositions in her cello noir style. Best ingested in a dark room at high volume.
