Russell England is a director with a background in documentary making.
He has just finished his first feature film ‘Unhallowed Ground’ – a heist-horror – which receives its UK premiere at the 2015 The London Independent Film Festival.
He is currently working on a documentary about a forgotten genius of Bletchley Park and his legacy to the modern world of intelligence gathering.
Previous work includes the critically-acclaimed ‘The Secret History of Our Streets – Duke Street’ and the much-repeated ‘Operation Mincemeat’, which was nominated for Grierson and Broadcast Awards. He has made documentaries and drama-docs for all the major UK Broadcasters as well as PBS, Smithsonian and SyFy channels in the United States. He has also directed award-winning commercials and online content.
