Freelance video editor working in Seattle, WA, or remote. Also looking to connect with Seattle-based videographers.
I’m an experienced creative professional with a technical mindset and a knack for communicating with people. At LifeSize, I was obsessed with learning about our product, and had many casual chats in the offices of product managers, sales managers, and engineers.
I built and managed 2 video programs (Marketing & Training) over 4 years at LifeSize. I coordinated production of videos from conception through completion: research, script writing, scheduling, production, editing, review, publishing. We were a small team so I played many roles outside video too -- Business Development, Team Coordinator, Process Documentor, and Content Creator for website and social media.
For Training, I spent hours reading technical documentation and talking with product managers, and then I would craft that information into an understandable script and eventually a video. Our target audiences had a wide range of technical expertise. I created content for marketing, training, engineering, operations, sales, support, and the executive staff. Then I was hired as a consultant at Genesys to create their on-demand video training program.
I also worked for many years as a freelance writer and video producer/editor. I co-founded Make It Productions, which creates cinematic videos for small businesses in Austin TX.
I’m a fast learner, a natural storyteller, and an enthusiastic collaborator.
