I am a prodigious writer-Producer-Director of tv food, travel and arts shows, and occasionally of mainstream commercials. I am a confident self shooter, a prolific researcher cum writer and in my dramatic directing I am renowned for my quirky comic style and distinctive framing of subjects. I swing from advertising to documentary styles with relative ease and I am equally comfortable filming reality and composing artful images.
I herald from the tiny isthmus of Gibraltar but I grew up mainly in Thurrock, Essex. I began my cinematic life making Super 8 epics with my friends before maturing at the London International Film School where I graduated with distinction.
I gained my reputation making hard hitting documentaries about disenfranchised children and I achieved notoriety directing tv commercials for clients as diverse as BT, Dove, Kellogg's, Pampers and Freeserve.
I have been a finalist at the New Directors Awards in Cannes and I have been a runner up at the Raindance Film Festival with my short film noir "Imbroglio".
