Scott McClellan is an award winning cinematographer and photographer based out of Toronto, Canada and is an associate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers. He graduated from NSCAD University with a bachelor of fine arts, then continued his education in the United States with intensive masters classes in advanced lighting and cinematography. In his nine years as a Director of Photography, McClellan has added many short films, music videos, TV series, documentaries, commercials and feature films to his credit. Working with broadcasters such as the CBC, the Travel & Escape network, National Film Board of Canada, CMT, YTV and many more. McClellan won the award for Best Cinematography at the 2014 Atlantic Film festival with his debut feature Cast No Shadow, which was also nominated for five Canadian Screen Awards including Best Picture. This film and the short films he has lensed have traveled the world festival circuit, most notably the Toronto International Film Festival, Cannes, Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and Busan, South Korea. Over the years McClellan’s work has been recognized with several additional awards and nominations and has also been featured in Canadian Cinematographer magazine.
