GIRLS LIE sits at the apex of the Alt porn movement of the early 2000s, and is the first on a "major label" (i.e., Vivid Video—the house that Jenna Jameson built).

Part provocative indie movie, part adult entertainment this video raised a lot of eyebrows with shocking portrayals (at least for the the adult realm) of dissolute hipsters, pregnancy tests, personal hygiene regimens, a bisexual male star, and more. It's all set to an underground soundtrack—by yours truly—as dark and dangerous as the authentic L.A. locales the performers inhabit.

Filmed in part at infamous DIY venue, Il Corral.
