November 4, 2013: In the decades since the Endandered Species Act and framing of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, advances in genomics, remote sensing, and global-scale climate models have advanced. Do legal frameworks for conservation efforts lag scientific understanding? How might bioscience can better inform conservation/biodiversity policy? These questions and more are discussed by John M.
