Video excerpt documenting one of eleven public performances developed for the installation “Playground,” created for the UCSB Public Arts Research Lab and the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission. A playground swing set is transformed into a computer-controlled video-driven light box - an experimental environment enabling a series of collaborative nighttime performances. Video is converted into LED lighting that metamorphoses the figure in real-time, merging the body, sculpture, performance, and electronic media into a hybrid form.
