This is a recorded presentation from Parkinson Society British Columbia's Victoria Regional Conference featuring Dr. Silke Cresswell. Dr. Cresswell is a movement disorder specialist who works at the Pacific Parkinson’s Research Centre (PPRC). In 2010, she became Assistant Professor in Medicine/Neurology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) working as a clinician scientist at PPRC, as well as an active staff member at Vancouver General Hospital. Dr. Cresswell’s presentation is an overview of Parkinson's disease, with emphasis on motor and non-motor symptoms and how these can be effectively treated. She also discusses the latest research on Parkinson’s being conducted in British Columbia.
