COVID-proof, 100% online delivery, same impacts.
Hi Simon here from Noise Solution.
Welcome to our recently relocated studio in my back bedroom! I'm working from home as most of you are as well. I wanted just to update you on what was going on with Noise Solution.
If you've worked with us before, you know that the work that we do is so often transformative in its impact on the wellbeing of the young people that you refer to us.
Our 1:1 music mentoring has been a crucial part of that success. So you might be thinking, well, is Noise Solution able to carry on continuing during the COVID 19 situation? Well, the good news is that we are able to use our 10 years experience in, well, I think it's fair to say it's cutting edge digital youth work to help.
80% of our work was digital anyway, we've been really busy over the last few weeks with our musicians redesigning that other 20% of the program, so that it's also ready for complete digital delivery online, completely remotely, the whole process. That means though, that our evidenced understanding of how best to engage young people and vulnerable adults is still exactly the same.
The research underpinning our approach is still exactly the same. Our ability to engage family via our platform and promote those protective factors that are so important to wellbeing are just the same. Our ability to track and analyse the impacts is also just the same. All that's changed is that our sessions are now able to be delivered entirely online rather than in someone's home or someone's studio.
We're using two-way video recording, video calling, sorry like most of you are, on browser-based music-making program. We've got musicians ready to go, still able to deliver transformational online music mentoring with young people in the comfort of their own homes. So if you are supporting young people, vulnerable adults who are isolated, then we can still help.
